Free Fonts & Chalkboard Background

I LOVE fonts and anything chalkboard. I think they look awesome on blogs and whenever they pop up on my Pinterest feed.  It's hard to find a great font that goes with a chalkboard background. I look for anything cursive or something that looks handwritten or artsy since it just looks better.  I also try to add illustrations to give more depth to the chalkboard.

I'm relatively new at the whole graphic thing and using a chalkboard background is the easiest way for me to add a little something to a blog post without spending hours trying to figure out my Adobe Illustrator.

Oh You Fancy Huh?

I changed up the design a little bit. The old one just wasn't bright enough.

The background and header are courtesy of Babbling Brooke Designs.  I'm so grateful for finding her site off of Pinterest!

I'm really feeling the Chevron and Zebra print (2 of my favorite things!)

Roxi was not very happy that my attention was focused
more on my laptop than it was on her.

I hope everyone likes this new design! I personally think it's much cheerier and definitely expresses my personality a little bit more. It's a little fancier and more aesthetically pleasing too!

Here is what the old layout use to look like for comparison .

I honestly was so bent on changing things up because I'm procrastinating finishing my study guides....and I'm also blog obsessed!

Blog Obsessed!

Ok....I'm a little blog obsessed.

I've been messing around with this thing all day. I've been exploring other blogs for information, creating a snazzy signature and a grab button for anyone who wants to show me a little love.

I'm trying to figure out this whole HTML code thing and make my site a little more aesthetically pleasing. Anyone who knows anything about coding or has any suggestions please don't hesitate to drop me a comment or an email.
